How much does an SIA licence cost?
The application fee is 184. In some cases, we are able to assist you with the funding of your licence depending on your residency status and earnings. Speak to our representative.
I have criminal convictions; can I still apply for an SIA licence?
This is not at the discretion of VIRPIO SECURITY. The SIA website has a criminal records indicator which will give you some idea as to whether or not you would be eligible.
How long does my Level 2 Security Guard Qualification last for?
Your qualification typically lasts for 3 years. After 3 years, you will need to renew it by completing a Refresher Course and re-taking necessary assessments.
How long does it take to get my SIA licence?
The SIA aims to process applications within 25 working days. On average, the entire process takes around 6 weeks.
What if I fail elements of my training?
VIRPIO SECURITY provides one free re-sit (funded candidates only). Further re-sits will be at a cost of 50 per module.
Can I work with VIRPIO SECURITY?
Upon successful completion, learners are guaranteed an interview opportunity. If suitable, a job will be offered.
