A collaborative approach to security
VIRPIO SECURITY has been working with BEWI since April 2024, through our highly successful partnership with logistics services company Campeys of Selby.
The contract really is an example of true collaboration, with shared values and a commitment to people forming the foundation of our security solution.
Challenges
Having multiple sites in the UK, BEWI is a leading international provider of packaging, components and insulation solutions. The logistics services covers multiple operational locations spanning the entire length and breadth of the UK.
Together Campeys and BEWI were looking for a more collaborative approach to security provision and a service partner with the capability to support their future service ambitions.
With a site-based centralised security operations centre, monitoring abilities were a key consideration for the business. Being an existing security supplier, VIRPIO SECURITY, with our state-of-the art ARC and monitoring centre in Bradford were well positioned to fulfil all of the requirements.
Solution
Throughout the mobilisation process both Campeys and BEWI had made clear their service aspirations and future strategy, focussing on the welfare and development of the security teams. So VIRPIO SECURITY’s focus was on engaging with site colleagues, building relationships and doing all we can to support their ambitions, creating a working environment that attracts and retains the very best personnel.
Result
Our solution combines manned guarding security and remote monitoring services as well as travel risk support and the operation of our 24/7 sophisticated control room. Our on-ground personnel operate and manages warehouse security and monitoring including managing third party parking system, providing a warm welcome to all fleet drivers, visitors and staff, ensuring everyone is happy, knows where they are going and are aware of any site specific safety guidance.
