Area Relief Officer (Manned Guarding)

Location: Yorkshire

Salary/Rate: £12.21 p/h

Job Description:

As an Area Relief Officer, you will be required to work at different client locations, with a view to being allocated regular shifts when the opportunities arise. The role carries a flexible working pattern which includes Days, Nights, and Weekend shifts.

Your job will involve ensuring the safety and security of people, premises, and property. You will liaise with staff to ensure that no unauthorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas. You must maintain an accurate record of regular patrols and incidents.

Business Development Manager

Location: Yorkshire

Salary: £55,200 per annum

Requirement: Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the security industry.

We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team in Yorkshire. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious professional with a proven track record in the security sector to play a key role in driving regional growth.

As Business Development Manager, you will liaise with senior management to identify opportunities for expanding security service offerings and contribute to the development of growth strategies and sales targets.

You will engage with prospective and existing clients to understand their security needs, conduct site surveys and risk-based assessments, and analyse feedback on service quality, response capability, and operational effectiveness.

The role involves compiling and evaluating sales performance data, preparing proposals and tender documentation, and supporting the creation of marketing and promotional initiatives to drive new business.

You will manage key client accounts to ensure exceptional service delivery, contract compliance, and long-term client satisfaction. Additionally, you will recruit, guide, and support junior sales or business development staff, promoting best practices in client engagement and service delivery.

The position also requires producing detailed reports and strategic recommendations for senior leadership on market trends, competitive positioning, and opportunities for business growth, while staying up to date with industry developments, emerging security technologies, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge.
